Pastor Michael Rhyne

Pastor Michael Rhyne began his service with Redeemer in October of 2021. Prior to his move to Maine, he served as Bishop of the Allegheney Synod, ELCA in central Pennsylvania. He has also served congregations in Geeseytown and Newry, Pennsylvania and Hartsville, SC. He is a second career pastor, having spent a decade working in professional theater and teaching at several colleges. He and his family are very excited about joining the family at Redeemer Lutheran. He hopes that you will be able to join us for worship either in person, or on-line. Pastor wants you to know that you are loved by God in Jesus Christ more than you can begin to imagine. In worship we celebrate the blessing of life that we have received in Jesus Christ, and we pray for the Holy Spirit to continue the work of shaping and molding us into the people God wants us to be. Nancy Leibfarth, Secretary

Nancy has served as the Office Administrator/Secretary for Redeemer Lutheran since 2004. Nancy coordinates the administrative work of the congregation and is the cheerful voice that greets you when you call the church.  She is the mother of 4, and grandmother of 2. In addition to her service to the church, she has spent 15 years as a Facilitator with Pathfinders, a support group for grieving families.
