Music at Redeemer
Redeemer Lutheran Church is seeking an Organist or Pianist to be the Part Time Director of Music. Job Summary to provide music for weekly worship at Redeemer Lutheran Church, conduct adult & children's choir, provide or arrange music for seasonal or special services, encourage congregation members to share their musical talents. Requirements, must be creative and organized, have piano or organ proficiency, knowledge of conducting and leading others through music. Redeemer is a Christian congregation called to unite people from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to grow in the love of Jesus Christ. We therefore respond to the vision to which God has called us--to proclaim this good news and to welcome all people without regard to sexual orientation, gender identity, culture or ethnic background, physical or mental abilities, family status, gender or age. We pledge to ourselves and all others that we will strive to live as reconciling people in our life together and in our outreach to the world. In 2012, Redeemer officially became a Reconciling in Christ congregation.

DEO GLORIA SINGERS sing unison and 2-part anthems two Sundays a month, September through June. Usually rehearse on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30.
FESTIVAL CHOIR sings 3- and 4-part choral music for Christmas Eve, Holy Week and Easter and rehearses on Sundays at 11:30 a few weeks before.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR is for school aged children who enjoy singing. Meets the 2nd Sunday of each month in the music room.
GRACE NOTES - a few times a year, children of all ages share songs learned in Faith Formation gathering time
JOYFUL SOUND PLAYERS – Wind, string and percussion players accompany congregational song once a month September through June, with rehearsal 30 minutes prior to the service on those Sundays.
